Look, Ma, I'm on the internets!

Kathryn Fitzmaurice, author of the wonderful middle grade novel, The Year the Swallows Came Early, is a part of the Class of 2k9, a marketing collective of debut novelists. The 2k9 gang is interviewing their editors on their group blog, so if you'd like, you can click over here for an interview with me. Thanks to Kathryn and the 2k9-ers for asking some great questions!

  1. What a great interview! How nice to get to know you better. I was at the SCBWI WWA conference this weekend and you were on the opening video for Steve and Lin (what would we do if there was no SCBWI? - hilarious, btw) and as you say - there's a connectivity in this industry that isn't bound by age or location or vocation, that truly reaches across continents.

I belong to an online critique group and my friends are in India and Dubai and Australia as well as all over this country and I love having that common thread of writing to tie us all together.
