All my standard threats about just possibly never-ever coming back from a beautiful place like this hold true. That said, don't have too much fun without me while I'm away, please!
P.S. Bonus points & a fun Advanced Readers Copy prize to the first person in the comments section who properly guesses where I am, city & state, based on that picture. (No fair playing if I've already told you, though!)
Chicago? Just kidding. It looks kind of like Colorado. Or Idaho. Wyoming. Montana. Oregon. Nevada.
ReplyDelete(Can you tell I'm guessing?)
Wherever it is, it's lovely and I hope you have a wonderful time!
I have no idea, but my husband is guessing Missoula, MT. Where ever it is, I wish you a peaceful, refreshing vacation. If you decide not to come back, no one would blame you. But you'd definitely be missed. ;-)
ReplyDeletewell, it's not Bruges. And it's not Paris. And it's not Brooklyn. I think it's Montana.
ReplyDeleteI have to say Santa Fe. ;-) I just have to.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to say Utah because then you could come visit me. I'd say Arizona, but that looks a bit too green in places. I'd say it's somewhere along the Colorado River (Colorado, Utah, Arizona), but you can call me stumped.
ReplyDeleteBlack Canyon in Colorado?
ReplyDeleteI'n guessing the Platte River. I'm basically basing this on Janet Reids blog. So- technically you didn't tell me. And frankly, she could be lying. However, I did google image the Platte and there are similiar rock formations so, there you have it.
ReplyDeleteOKay, I am guessing Rocky mountains... but then again that's a little plain-ey (Is that a word?)
ReplyDeleteum... Nebraska?
Taos New Mexico!
ReplyDelete(I know it's not a rainy cold resort in Barrie Ontario Canada, that's for certain)
It's got to be Utah--just north of Arches near Mexican Hat...man, it's beautiful there.
ReplyDeleteI think I've seen every tree in Colorado and I just don't think I've seen these...I'm saying South Dakota.
ReplyDeleteMoab, Utah. Perhaps.
ReplyDeleteMy Guess is Arizona. Perhaps somewhere in the Gila River or Colorado River. Either way have a fantastic time! (Hugs)Indigo
ReplyDeleteColorado Springs, Colorado?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing Sedona, Arizona. One of my favorite memories of our family vacation there involves driving around looking for an imaginary river. We never found it, so we have pictures of ourselves in swimsuits playing in a dusty dried-up riverbed.
